About Pastor Duett
A native of Mississippi, WWII Navy Veteran; Pastor Duett, with his wife Eilene, has served Southern Baptist Churches and the denomination for over 55 years. Pastorates include a college student church in Mississippi, First Baptist Church of Fair Oaks, CA. and White Avenue Baptist Church in Pomona, CA.
Moving to Reno in 1974, Pastor Duett was Senior Pastor of First Southern Baptist Church in Reno before a ten year period with the Nevada Baptist Convention.
He now serves as Associate Pastor of Granite Hills Baptist Church with duties including: preaching and ministry to senior adults.
Pastor Duett has a BA, BD & MDiv.
